Mobile GPRS

TECO GROUP implements mobile GPRS/cellular data communication solutions for cost-effective remote monitoring and control of geographically distributed assets across Jordan. GPRS telemetry is the ideal industrial communication technology for connecting widely dispersed pumping stations, wells, remote substations, and satellite treatment facilities to central SCADA control rooms — leveraging existing public mobile network infrastructure to deliver reliable data acquisition without the capital cost of dedicated UHF radio, wireless microwave, or fiber optic communication links.

Our mobile GPRS communication capabilities include:

• GPRS/3G/4G cellular modems integrated with PLC controllers and RTUs at each remote site for automated data transmission to the central SCADA master station.
• Real-time telemetry of pump status, flow rates, tank levels, pressure readings, valve positions, and alarm conditions from remote outstations.
• Remote start/stop control and setpoint adjustment of pumps, motors, and process equipment from the central control room via GPRS link.
• Store-and-forward data buffering at remote sites to ensure no data loss during temporary network outages.
• Secure VPN tunnelling and encrypted data communication for protection against unauthorised access.
• Integration with DCS architectures and hot redundant SCADA configurations for large multi-site networks.
